I decided to take Kelly’s Korner challenge this week which is “Favorite Bible Verse”. I have so many but lately there’s been a few that keep coming back to me.
The first is:
This what I strive to do everyday.
“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1Thessalonians 5:20
I try to remember this because in such a worrier.
“Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your heart quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
and of course the first verse I ever learned and one on which my faith is based.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
